KIMAA

How Our Growth & XP System Works

KIMAA is more than classes. We use a simple, modern system to help students build discipline, consistency, effort, and leadership—both in the dojo and at home.

🎯 The Big Idea

Kids don’t grow by attendance alone. Growth comes from consistent effort, practice, and good choices. Our system tracks and rewards those habits.

📊 The Dashboard

Each student has a personal dashboard showing their progress, XP, and milestones. It’s their scoreboard for effort and growth.

🏆 XP (Experience Points)

Students earn XP for showing up, working hard, practicing at home, and showing leadership. XP turns good habits into something visible and motivating.

How Students Earn XP

🥋 In-Class Training

Coaches award XP for attendance, effort, discipline, and focus during class.

🏠 At-Home Workouts

Students can earn XP by completing at-home training and practice assignments.

⭐ Leadership & Character

Parents can submit XP for leadership, responsibility, and positive habits directly from their child’s dashboard. No review is required, and XP updates within seconds.

How Parents Are Involved

  • Scan your child’s band or use their link to view their dashboard.
  • Encourage at-home practice and consistency.
  • Submit XP for your child directly from their dashboard for leadership and positive habits.
  • XP submissions update within seconds.
  • Celebrate progress, not just belts or ranks.

Why We Do This

Our goal is to build strong habits, confidence, and self-discipline that carry over into school, sports, and life. The dashboard and XP system aren’t about pressure—they’re about making effort visible and teaching students that consistency pays off.

📱 Easy Access

Students can scan their band or use their personal link to open their dashboard on any phone or device. No app required.

🔒 Respect for Privacy

Each student only sees their own progress. This system is designed for accountability and encouragement, not comparison.

🎽 Wristband Policy

Wristbands are used for quick access to dashboards. If a wristband is lost, there is a $10 replacement fee.
