Practical starting points

TRAIN WITH PURPOSE

Quality matters more than checking a box. Move under control, stop when technique breaks down, and follow your coach’s instructions.

10-Minute Mobility Reset

Complete 30–45 seconds each: ankle rocks, hip flexor stretch, adductor rock-backs, thoracic rotations, shoulder circles and controlled deep-squat breathing.

20-Minute Foundation Strength

Complete three controlled rounds: 8 squats, 6–10 push-ups, 8 reverse lunges per side, 20-second plank, 10 hip bridges and 20 seconds of fast feet. Rest as needed.

25-Minute Skill Session
  • 5 minutes: movement preparation
  • 8 minutes: high-quality isolated reps
  • 8 minutes: game-speed or decision-based reps
  • 4 minutes: note one improvement and one next focus
Film Study: See It, Name It, Apply It
  • Choose one skill, position or decision to watch.
  • Record three examples of what worked.
  • Name the repeatable cue behind the result.
  • Bring one question or application to your next practice.
Post-Training Recovery

Walk and breathe for two minutes, hydrate, complete five minutes of relaxed mobility, eat an appropriate recovery meal or snack, and protect your sleep routine.
